THE AREA AROUND GORGES DU VERDON

The Gorges du Verdon, Europe’s downscaled version of the Grand Canyon, is situated 30 minutes North of Draguignan. This beautiful and dramatic scenery of mountains and deep valleys is a must see. In the summer, people flock to this area to hike or rock climb. They love to take a pedal-boat stroll and jump from the huge rock cliffs. The river Verdon pours its waters in the turquoise lac Ste-Croix. It is incredibly beautiful and well worth paying a visit to!

Paying attention to the number of tourists that want to spend time in Les Gorges de Verdon, buying a house or a villa in this area would become an ideal rental investment in the South of France.

Around Gorges du Verdon you will find the villages Bauduen, les Salles-sur-Verdon and Sainte Croix. The amazing village Moustier is known for its stunning hand-painted porcelain sculptures. All these villages are close to beaches located along the lake.

Nice and Toulons’ airports are approximately one hour from Draguignan. It takes about one and a half hours to get to Marseilles’ airport. The high-speed TGV train runs to and from Les Arcs daily.
