Sainte-Maxime is a city that lives year round. It is located in the northern part of Saint-Tropez bay, with wind protection behind the Moors mountains.
The town was founded by the Lérin monks who built a monastery which was then named after their saint, Maxime. At the beginning of the 20th century, the area became popular with writers and artists because of its pleasant climate and beautiful surroundings.
The old town is adjacent to the marina, where there are shops, restaurants and bars. Sainte-Maxime also offers nice beaches, boules and parks, and there is also a nice promenade and fast boat connections to Les Issambres, Saint Tropez and Port Grimaud.
There are 8 golf courses within a 20-minute drive. To the east of the city are large residential areas such as La Nartelle and Les Issambres. Contact us to find your dream home!
