I didn’t speak french at all when I moved here!

Why the French Riviera?

I met my ex-husband when I worked as an au pair in the US, he is French and we decided to move here in 2003.

The best beach on the French Riviera?

I don’t spend too much time at the beach due to my Scandinavian skin, but the beaches in Théoule-sur-Mer are very pretty!

What do you enjoy doing on a day off?

With my husband and daughter we often visit little villages in the mountains. We like to buy produce directly from the farmers or to have lunch at some nice restaurant.

Favourite spot on the Riviera?

I love La Moulière which is a part of the village of Andon that is situated in the Préalpes d’Azur. It is a lovely place where you can hike and visit. There is a ski lift so that in the winter when there is snow, you can ski and in the summer you can go downhill biking!
