Jacquie CECCHI

Real estate agent in Valbonne and its surroundings
How did you end up on the French Riviera?

I met a handsome and charming Frenchman while on holiday in Costa Rica in 2005. After spending our first year together in Canada, I took the leap and moved to the French Riviera in 2006. We married in 2009 and welcomed our son in 2013.

How long have you been living in France?

I first moved to Antibes in 2006. In 2016, my husband accepted a position in California, and after spending eight wonderful years in the United States, we returned to our beloved French Riviera in 2024. Altogether, I have lived in France for around 12 years.

Tell us something people don’t know about you! Share something unique that very few people know.

I used to play hockey and still miss my curling leagues back home in Canada. I’m also an avid golfer and love getting out on the course whenever I can.

If you had to choose one place on the French Riviera, which would it be?

Without hesitation: Antibes. It was our very first home on the Riviera, and it captured my heart from the moment I arrived.

What do you most enjoy doing on a day off?

My ideal day off is spent with my husband and son, whether we’re relaxing together, working in the garden, or enjoying the sea. And if I can find the time, a round of golf is always a perfect addition to the day.

What did you do before joining Wretman Estate?

My career has always revolved around people, homes, and helping others through important life transitions. I began by working for a ship chandler in Antibes before pursuing my passion for photography and launching my own luxury real estate photography business in 2014, specializing in high-end HDR imagery.

I continued this work in Los Angeles and Malibu before relocating to the San Francisco Bay Area. When the pandemic changed the market, I reinvented myself and moved into estate sales, helping families manage and sell the contents of their homes.

After returning to the French Riviera, I continued building on that experience by creating services focused on property clear-outs, downsizing, relocation assistance, and preparing homes for sale. Becoming a real estate agent was a natural full-circle moment, bringing together years of experience helping people through some of life’s biggest transitions.
