How did you end up on the Riviera?

I moved to the Riviera in December 2024 after having been here on and off since 2016. I had been thinking about settling here for a couple of years and it felt like the right time in my life to do so. I haven’t regretted it for a second!

Tell us something people don’t know about you.

I have lived in California for 8 years and have completed a Sommelier training as I am very interested in food and wine.

What is your favourite excursion on the Riviera?

There are so many fantastic excursions to do on the Riviera! I really enjoy being by the sea so going out by boat, bringing a picnic basket, anchoring in Ville Franche Bay or Beaulieu-sur-Mer for a day and swimming. Going up to Saint Paul de Vence, having a glass of bubbly in the garden at La Colombe d´Or and then watching Boule (Pétanque) or hiking in the mountains somewhere along the Riviera are a couple of other favorites!

What does an ideal Sunday look like for you?

Take a quiet morning with a cup of coffee on the terrace and enjoy the day without any specific plans. Maybe take a trip and have a nice dinner at home with friends and family.

What did you do before you started working at Wretman?

For the past 17 years before my move to the Riviera, I worked in the financial sector as an insurance specialist in Sweden, helping medium-sized companies, their employees and owners with pension solutions, investments, risk insurance and tax planning.

What do you think is the most important quality for being a good estate agent?

You must have many different qualities in this profession, but being responsive, flexible, good at communication and understanding the customer’s needs and wishes is essential.
